Talbot House Location

Talbot House is located just 35 kilometers from Sydney, just off the Trans-Canada Highway. Much of what makes our community special for recovery is our 400 acres of natural beauty. Residents and visitors alike find themselves drawn into the tranquility and beauty of our location. In the summer our Park, is an attraction for all who live or visit our community, while the winter sees us skating on our outdoor rink.

To reach Talbot House take Highway 125, and, coming from North Sydney or Sydney, take Exit # 4. From North Sydney turn right at the end of the ramp, from Sydney turn left at the end of ramp. Traveling 8.5 kilometers up this road takes you to St. Mary’s Church, which shares the property with Talbot House. This small rural church is another of the things that makes your stay at Talbot House such a unique and inspiring experience.
